Hi everybody and welcome back to my blog. Today I’d like to share with you a quick update regarding my portfolio and talk a bit about the new options of acquiring my work.
Firstly, I revised and reworked my portfolio page where you can now find a much wider selection of my works than before. Of course, the focus is on the most recent pieces and the majority of works listed indeed consists of my most current work. But I also added a few extra that I think stood the test of time and could be of interest to many of you.
Secondly, if you’re interested in purchasing my work, you now have two options: you can either 1. buy the original painting or 2. a much more affordable 1/4 sheet reproduction (11 x 15 in. / 28 x 38 cm). These prints are done on a large format printer and for a reproduction print I must say the quality is quite good. The hue and value shift is minimal. They are printed on semi-gloss photo paper with ink that is reasonably archival (not a Giclée 100+ years archival though) and for the price they are a fantastic deal I think. Ever since I discontinued my own print production a few years back I’ve been looking into ways of offering these again at a reasonable price and so I’m really quite enthusiastic about this option now being back.
Thirdly, if you’re interested in a limited edition Giclée prints, these now can be requested individually via email. Just let me know which piece you’re interested in and I’ll share all the details in my reply to your email. My Giclée reproductions are going to be numbered limited editions of 5 or 10 pieces and supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity secured with a hologram. They are printed on one of the best there is: Hahnemühle Museum Etching paper. Each piece is hand-signed by me. If there’s going to be enough interest in these, they may become available directly on the website eventually.
And finally, if you do decide to purchase a painting or a reproduction, I’m offering you a special coupon code with which you’ll get a 10% discount on your entire order. Just type “portfolio2018” into the “coupon code” field in the cart. The code is valid through February 28, 2018.
And that’s it for this quick update. Let me know what you think. How you like the new portfolio? Does the option of getting prints make it easier for you to consider owning my artwork? Let me know in the comments.
