In my previous article, where I shared my thoughts on keeping a sketchbook, you could see some examples from my previous sketchbooks as well as learn the why and how of my sketchbook habit. If you haven’t read the article and are interested to find out more, I encourage you to check it out.
In today’s follow up video I browse through my most recently finished sketchbook. The sketchbook I use is a heavyweight Winsor & Newton sketchbook with 170g paper. It is an A5 size sketchbook. The paper is fairly absorbent and can’t be used very effectively with watercolor. It does work fairly well with fountain pen ink but wet pen is preferable. It takes pencil and very simple wash well.
